Scentuals is a Canadian skin care brand that creates all natural & cruelty-free cosmetic and personal care products. The Luxury Collection's gift sets are a limited time offering as part of the 2020 Holiday Season Promotion to retail and wholesale customers. I've designed the new packaging and labels of this line to provide a visual for client to market towards both wholesale and retail customers.
About The Luxury Collection
The Luxury Collection is an exclusive line of 7 self-care products offered in 6 Signature Scents profiles, which are sold as a collection or separately.

The two sets that are newly offered for the Holiday 2020 catalogue are the Salty & Sweet Duo (1 Sugar Scrub, 1 Bath Salt Soak) and the Ultimate Spa Kit (1 Massage Oil, 1 Fragrance Mist, 1 Body Lotion).
Visual Design Process
The product development team proposed these sets for their Holiday offerings. I designed the visual branding and packaging, ensuring each scent had a distinct color while aligning with Scentuals' all-natural branding. To preserve the previous design’s integrity, I incorporated a gradient base color on the paper wrap, representing the scent layers of the Signature Scents. The white box features an embossed metallic gold floral pattern for a simple, luxurious feel. Labels use the scent’s base color, white space, and gold floral outlines. I developed the bottles and containers in Esko (Illustrator 3D) and applied print designs before rendering.
Copywriting Process
To create a compelling gift set product for wholesales (and by extension the end customer), I crafted product descriptions as solutions, framing them around a relaxing spa day to highlight the de-stressing benefits. To differentiate the brand, I emphasized its key attributes—organic, all-natural, and cruelty-free. Essential details like ingredients and usage directions were written clearly, with a reviewed French translation included.

Key Learnings
I've learned to create a brand narrative through product packaging that would appeal to different stakeholders, including the target customer base and wholesale retailers.

As this was a real client project, I observed and worked to design with limitations. This included how to present the medium that the product will be contained, how it would be displayed and where the product will be purchased.
