Hi, I'm Helen 👋

Storytelling is the heart of my work, passions and hobbies. I’m a UX Designer at BC Ferries by day, and a free-spirited creative experimenter by night.

My interdisciplinary work experience in communications, branding, project management in different industries has helped me adapt to various stakeholder needs in the workplace.

What Storytelling Means To Me

This is the most important element in any creative work. Whether it be through fictional narratives, music, film or even presenting to your proposal in a professional setting, I use storytelling as a way to connect with the audience and deliver my message in a way that is both entertaining and easy to understand.

What Design Means To Me

I believe design is a strategy that helps problem solvers to clearly articulate a solution and fosters a supportive environment to collaborate with other creatives.

What I spend most of my free time on

In my free time and to have a creative long term outlet, I maintain a blog with a niche following that analyzes the literary and artistic works of creators have inspired me with their methods of connecting to their audience and by studying their favourite elements of storytelling.
